Reading this book, I found myself relating to your life of pain and suffering. The emotions you experienced as you were working through to understand the lesson and still staying aligned with God and his teachings. The mentality you developed from these lessons are the same I have formed myself of the my lifetime of hurt and pain. Thank you for being vulnerable in your suffering. I smile, for I know, someone in the world has my same beliefs of trying to make the world a better place because of all the suffering they had to endure. I know the world would be a better place if we all could share our pain as you have. God Bless your heart 💖

Thanks Chris Josh, I have yet to read all 6 books, but I have begun City of Serpents and it's a powerful testimony so far. You've come from a living nightmare and it shows what God is capable and willing to accomplish in someone's life who is surrendered to Him! The best part is He isn't even finished with You.

The City of Serpents by Chris Josh is a journey through the eyes and emotions of a resilient & brilliant mind who magnificently held close to God through it all. Josh suffered under years of narcissistic torture first by his own mother and then by his wife of 20 years. Despite all of the narcissistic abuse these women put him through (many others throughout this childhood & adulthood took him for granted and spewed out more abuse his way) Josh stayed true to his prosperous authentic loving caring natured self with God by his side through his entire 40 years of devastating hardships. He divulged this triumph was achieved solely by relying on himself, his divine God given intuition & more notably, his faith in God. Josh overcame the unthinkable writing his story in a wisdom filled uplifting manner that can help anyone through any trial & trauma that they experience. In his book, he gives advice on how to heal trauma and pairs well with his other book ‘How to Access Your Divine Energy’ which comes with a workbook to help you stay focused on your own healing path. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has experienced trauma and or negativity in any way and also for anyone who may want to understand someone close to them that has been struggling through abuse.

I just got the books and am currently just started to read them so far. I am six chapters in the first book and.

I loved reading this book which is the second of 6 from Chris Josh that I’m immersing myself in. This book talks about well know sciences backing his simple written information to understand how to heal yourself anywhere anytime. He touches on his horrific 40 years of narcissistic abuse that led him to this enlightenment. This book is centered around the fact that all matter such as both living and inanimate, vibrate and at a specific frequency. Harnessing this knowledge and turning it into action or wisdom can make an everlasting positive impact on your psyche & physical body creating an oasis of happiness no matter what your life’s circumstances may be. I highly recommend anyone both with and without traumatic experiences to read this book and his others as well. Chris Josh’s first book, The City of Serpents (his autobiography) complements this book, How to Access Your Divine Energy, perfectly.

I’m still reading it, but find it relatable as well as confirmation that we can rise above the trauma. God bless you!

A very good, useful book with important informatoons on divine energy and how to access it the easiest way. I recommend it.

I purchased the audiobook bundle and I’ve only had time to listen to City of Serpents so far. This book is a refreshingly authentic perspective of a childhood trauma survivor. He details many of his experiences while giving a window into his inner self as he struggled through trauma, betrayal and low self-esteem. He had me chuckling at times with his honesty about what he’d like to do to the ones who abused him. I admire his strength to refrain from revenge. He talks about his connection to God and how it got him through his hardest times. I’ve taken away some insights that I can apply to my own life and struggles. As a fellow childhood trauma survivor with C-PTSD, I felt like I could relate to so much of his story, from the toxic family, being the black sheep and feeling utterly alone with God as my only friend. I commend Chris on his ascension from such a dark place, his courage to tell his story and his drive to help others. People who go through such things often don’t recover. It’s so nice to see someone like him. This is a great read, especially for childhood trauma survivors.
