Sometimes, we feel tired or sad, even if we slept well.
That’s because our energy can get low when we give too much of it to others or when we worry too much.
To get your energy back, start by being quiet.
Take deep breaths. Sit still. Let your heart rest.
Next, say “no” to the things that don’t feel right. You don’t have to please everyone. Your peace matters above all else.
Also, spend time with people who make you smile - a bonus if they make you laugh!
Go outside and play.
Pray and praise God.
Write nice things in a journal. Drink water and eat good food.
You are in charge of your energy. If something or someone makes you feel heavy, it’s okay to step away.
Each day, do one thing that makes you happy. Even something small.
You don’t need to fix everything. You just need to take care of you.
