Lectra Mae: Wisdom Filled & Entertaining Yet Tragically Disturbing Autobiography

The City of Serpents by Chris Josh is a journey through the eyes and emotions of a resilient & brilliant mind who magnificently held close to God through it all. Josh suffered under years of narcissistic torture first by his own mother and then by his wife of 20 years. Despite all of the narcissistic abuse these women put him through (many others throughout this childhood & adulthood took him for granted and spewed out more abuse his way) Josh stayed true to his prosperous authentic loving caring natured self with God by his side through his entire 40 years of devastating hardships. He divulged this triumph was achieved solely by relying on himself, his divine God given intuition & more notably, his faith in God. Josh overcame the unthinkable writing his story in a wisdom filled uplifting manner that can help anyone through any trial & trauma that they experience. In his book, he gives advice on how to heal trauma and pairs well with his other book ‘How to Access Your Divine Energy’ which comes with a workbook to help you stay focused on your own healing path. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has experienced trauma and or negativity in any way and also for anyone who may want to understand someone close to them that has been struggling through abuse.

I absolutely love this book! I found it very relatable. II enjoyed reading about his journey and his Faith in God. The character and strength it takes to trust God over people comes natural to him. It was heart-breaking to hear a lot of it, but it just radiates the proof that God is good.
