Sometimes we perceive two "voices" inside our head. Of course, they're not audible voices.
One voice is our higher self . It's calm, kind, and full of love.
It tells us, “You can do this. You're strong.” This voice feels light and peaceful. It always steers you in the right direction.
The other voice is anxiety . It makes us feel scared, worried, or not good enough. This is the voice that stops us in our tracks.
Anxiety says, “What if you fail? What if something goes wrong?” This voice feels very heavy and stressful. Don't give it much of your attention.
Anxiety has its place but it shouldn't be the voice you follow most of the time.
Whenever you perceive both voices, take a deep breath. Listen closely. The higher self will never yell or make you feel small. It always speaks with confident optimism.
Your job is to practice choosing the higher self. You can write in a journal, pray, or sit quietly and breathe. Each time you choose love over fear, you grow stronger.
Always remember - you're not your anxiety. You're actually your higher self - courageous, intelligent, and full of light.
