3 Reasons Why You Push People Away

3 Reasons Why You Push People Away

Written by Chris Josh

Do you or someone you know push people away? Maybe you crave friends or connection, but when someone shows interest, you withdraw. This might be a trauma response.

In my book, ‘City of Serpents,’ I share my journey of dealing with abuse and betrayal—from family and so-called friends. Over time, I developed an anxious attachment style, sought validation, and pushed people away. I began to believe everyone was out to get me, reinforcing the cycle of mistreatment.

Now, I reply to messages without hesitation. Through what I teach in ‘City of Serpents,’ I learned to heal from the past. By revolutionizing my beliefs, as shared in ‘How Champions Talk to Themselves,’ I’ve gained self-respect and receive far better treatment from others.

Are you pushing people away?

When you grow up in a society that makes you small and threat you like the lowest person on earth only because you are worthless and have not the facilities like being homeless or blaming by a group of people who has power. But after you save yourself and live better and working on yourself to be a better you and never come in touch with these enemies. These people will get offenden and see you as a agrresive or wrongdoers without even look, talk, touching them. They will fall and the innocent people who are brainwashed will see and dicover that you were not the wrongdoer that shocked and frustrate them. This give them a big regret after thinking that i was dumb or naif. This behavior is my instict and is a manner to live as good person and be benefectuonal with my self.

I understand everything you say because it feels as if you are talking to me. I mean not everything, just what resonate. But sometimes it feels like you’re talking to me.

Thank you Chris Josh for sharing a bit of life experience. I assimilate with what you went through. I can also write a book and people would not believe where I came from to where I’m at now. I’m in a good place but I give God all the glory. He’s my champion.
