It hurts when friends and family don’t cheer for you.
You might be trying something new, like starting a business, chasing a dream, or changing your life for the better.
Maybe you're working out and eating healthy. And now your body is transforming for the better.
But instead of claps and kind words, you get silence—or even mean looks.
Why does this happen?
Sometimes, they don’t understand your dream. Other times, they’re scared you’ll change or leave them behind.
Some people even feel jealous because you’re doing something brave or you're doing something they didn't do when they were your age.
But guess what? That doesn’t mean your dream is wrong. It just means they can’t see what you see or they just don't have your drive.
Believe in yourself anyway. Keep going. You don’t need their permission to grow.
Find people who cheer for you. Be proud of how far you’ve come.
You were born to shine—don’t let anyone dim your light!
