How many times have you been labeled as "too sensitive"?
You sensed that something was wrong, and you were told that you were overreacting.
You noticed the little things, and they gaslit you saying it was all in your mind or that you were making it up.
You picked up on the energy in the room, and they told you that you were being overly dramatic.
So you started to doubt yourself and doubting your reality altogether at times.
But here's the truth...You weren't too sensitive. You were just paying attention.
You felt something was off because it was real - not because you were imagining things.
You noticed the coldness and the distance and you picked up on the lie because part of you already knew.
"Too sensitive" is what people call you when they don't want you to trust what you see.
It's better for them if you doubt yourself. Because a person who trusts their gut is a person they can't fool.
Your sensitivity isn't a flaw at all. In fact, it's a gift. It's your radar. It's the thing that keeps you safe as long as you listen to it.
Stop apologizing for feeling deeply. It's not a weakness. It's actually intelligent awareness.
Trust what you notice. When something feels off, trust that feeling. You're smart. You know when something's off.
Always remember, you were never too much for what you felt.
You were just someone who was awake in a room full of people who wanted you asleep.
