What to Do When You're the Strong One and You're Tired

What to Do When You're the Strong One and You're Tired

Written by Chris Josh

You're the one everybody leans on.

The one who fixes things, the one who stays calm, and the one who holds it all together.

But nobody ever asks if you're okay.

And the truth is... it gets tiring.

Here's what to do.

First, admit that it's happening. Being strong doesn't mean you never get tired. Say it out loud. "I'm worn out."

That's not weakness - that's just being honest with yourself.

Second, let someone help you. You don't have to carry everything alone. Pick one person you trust and let them show up for you for once.

Third, put it down. You're allowed to rest.

The world won't fall apart if you take a break - the people who really love you will understand.

Fourth, fill your own cup too. You pour into everyone else. Save some for yourself - otherwise, you won't be able to help anyone, including YOU.

Being strong is good. But even strong people need someone to lean on.

That's allowed and it doesn't mean you're not strong!
