They’ll Respect You the Day You Stop Chasing Them

They’ll Respect You the Day You Stop Chasing Them

Written by Chris Josh

Let me tell you something you already feel but probably haven’t said out loud yet.

The chasing isn’t working. And guess what? It'll never work!

Double texting, waiting by the phone, or bending over backwards to be chosen simply repels people.

The more you chase, the less they value you. That’s just how it works.

People don’t respect what’s always available. They respect what's scarce and hard to access.

(I'm saying you should close yourself off to the world. I'm not saying that at all...)

The second you stop chasing, something immediately changes.

You stop being the one trying so hard and you start being the one who walked away calmly and never looked back.

And that? That gets their attention. They suddenly remember you exist.

But here’s the thing...

By the time you're done chasing, you would have already stopped caring or wondering if they respect you.

That's because you finally tell yourself, "I know I deserve better!" And that’s worth more than their attention ever was. Having your own back is worth more than diamonds and gold!

Stop running after people who made you beg for the bare minimum. And stop shrinking to keep someone who won’t meet you halfway.

The right people won’t make you chase. They’ll walk right beside you, proud to be in your life.

So stop chasing and watch who comes looking for you once you do.

Not saying everyone will come knocking on your door, but some will start asking you where you've been at lately.

My advice? They already showed you who they are. So, take their curiosity of your whereabouts with a grain of salt and don't waste any of your time and energy on them.

Don't get me wrong, we're all busy and we can't always be in constant communication with each other.

I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about the people who want you to chase them down all the time. It's a manipulation tactic some love to use.

And here's the thing...once you stop chasing this whole world, it starts chasing you back. You simply become more magnetic and everything comes to you a lot easier and naturally...
