It’s very important to know who really supports you now rather than later. One way to get a good idea of who doesn’t really support you is when you tell that person some good news about yourself and they’re not happy for you.
On the flip side, that same person will display subtle happiness when something bad happens to you. It’s important to note that just because someone spends time with you, it doesn’t mean they genuinely like you.
Sometimes they’ll hang out with you because they’re bored, or they value your ideas and want to steal them from you. Other times, they just want to find a way to sabotage you. For example, you might run a business idea by them and they’ll purposely tell you it’s a bad idea. They’ll turn around and either implement the business idea themselves or they’ll give it to someone they really care about.
Next time you tell a friend or family member about an accomplishment, notice their behavior. Are they clapping for you, or is their mood somber and quiet? Do they immediately change the topic? Or do they tell you some bad news about themselves?
If they’re quiet and/or change topics, they really don’t care about you and chances are they’re jealous and envious of you. It’s best you find out who your real supporters are now before you actually need their support - hopefully you never need anyone’s support.
Start telling your friends and family members that you succeeded at something - even if you’re stretching the truth - to see who’s who and what’s what. Warning though; you may not like what you find out. That’s ok though, it’s better to find out the truth than to live in an illusion.
Let me know if you’ve ever experienced a friend and/or a family member who brushed you off and didn’t clap for you when you accomplished something in the comments below.

Yes 😊 LoL when I told my mother I’d like to write a book, her response was “Well, I just might write a book too”! For example…
Hello Chris, I enjoy read your posts. In 2008 I was going to have a serious operation to save my life but I survived. only to be in emotional pain for the fact that my sister was no where to be found through this process. Also I had a serious medical problem in my late 20s she would not even validate any thing that I was going on with me or offer any kind of support. but I had to learned the hard way. but I still could not come to grips with that. so after my mother died in 2014 I could start to see more of who she really is. When my mother was in a care home my sister walked out on her because my mother said something she did no like and could not understand that it was Alzheimers. Now fast forward a decade since my operation I have been blessed by the Holy Spirit. Then I met my wife in Thailand in 2019 I have been there five times to see her. So what i am about to say is that her father is a monk so I have been bless by him as well. In Christianity they say there is only one god but for me I am being blessed by both which I find controversial with many people in my every day life.
Thank You so much. I am so scared, please pray constantly for me.
thank you chris josh
