21 Affirmations For Happiness

21 Affirmations For Happiness

Written by Chris Josh

When you woke up this morning, you had a choice to make. Am I going to be sad and mopey or am I going to be upbeat and happy?

I’ll tell you, many years ago, I didn’t even know I had the power to choose! I thought it was logical to reflect on the day or days prior and make a judgement based on how things have been going.

You know what I realized after all these years? I realized that by choosing sadness; I was actually creating a life full of sadness! First, let me say this. How you feel (and you have the choice to feel whatever you want) is what is creating your circumstances.

In short, if you feel sad, you’ll experience things that make you feel sad continuously. BUT! If you choose to feel happy, then, magically, you’ll experience situations that perpetuate the happy feeling. You don’t have to take my word for it. Try it out for yourself.

I’ll admit, it’s going to take some willpower on your part to resist the urge to react to situations negatively. But once you are in full control of your emotions...welcome to heaven on earth!

Anyway, here’s a list of 21 happiness affirmations to recite daily. They were taken straight out of my book, 8000 Ultimate Affirmations, which contains 400 happiness & joy affirmations.

2. Every day, I’m becoming more and more happy.

Absolutely love everything about waking up and telling myself everyday . I love myself and I’m happy I make people happy. I literally like by these for a few years. I also still like my own company to much. I need discipline in my fitness and more connections with God. I absolutely have to say Chris you keep me on my toes to not go back to things that have hurt me in the past. So I’m so grateful for you. Have a lovely Christmas 🎄

I love how you keep up your PMA (positive mental attitude), but what if you’re sad because you don’t want to repeat the past. What if unconsciously your mind is seeing repeated patterns and you don’t know to react to certain moves or afraid to repeat past moves. What if your sadness is preparing you to prevent what you see could happen like a natural defense mechanism. It sucks to dwell in the past or look at difficult times. The mindset you tell yourself is considering others perspective of yourself or how they view you. At times I think of life as chess board because I need to consider how others could react to certain things. In reality everyone was brought up differently/ different experiences. We think mainly like pawns with a move ahead. Sometimes we need to change mindset or perspectives and see a knights view or a rooks view. I believe what you tell yourself is to be positive. You should change your mindset to your surroundings and what you’re working with. One thing i tell myself is how can I make things better and just be thankful for what I have. I don’t think of others unless I’m stuck or I anticipate I’ll need help. The best feeling for me is how can I help others and expect nothing in return. Yes I attract narcissists but I go with how to make things better, when I get pushed to a corner I think what would a monk do. Everyone has different opinions or experiences.
